Missions Emphasis Week

March 15, 2009 – March 22, 2009

“Building Bridges to a Lost World”

Matthew 24:14 – “And this Gospel will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to the nations, and then the end will come.”

Sunday, March 15 – Flags of the Nations, special music by the Victory Singers and Dancers; Special Guest Speaker:  Pastor Marcello DeSilva, Brazil’s Director of Youth For Christ.

Tues, March 17 – High School group will be given a handout of prayer requests for missionaries and a mission challenge.

Wed., March 18- Alta Loma Christian School - Students will hear a special message from CEF Missionary during their Chapel service.

Wed., March 18 - AWANA Night – AWANA Missionary will be the guest speaker; Clubbers will bring canned foods for Navajo BIC Mission.

Sat., March 21 – Missions Faire, 4:30 P.M. – 6P.M.  There will be Missions Displays, Passports to the world, and special photo opportunity for the kids.  Bring a canned food item for admission.  Canned food will go to the Food Pantry at the BIC Navajo Mission.

Sat., March 21 – Annual Missions Banquet, 6:00 P.M.:  Special Guest Speakers:  Duane & Diane Bristow, BIC missionaries at the Navajo Mission in Bloomfield, New Mexico.  Potluck dinner, special music, Pastor Ron Graff will present a slide show and update on SGBIC Missionaries & missions projects, and annual Missions Faith Promises pledge.

Sun., March 22 – Morning Worship Service - Special Guest Speaker, Duane Bristow, BIC missionary on the Navajo reservation. Missions Displays will be in the Narthex.
